Terms and Conditions
Last updated October 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of Kadra (the "Service"). By creating or using a Kadra account, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, your company.
Accounts
Kadra accounts are provisioned after a sales conversation, not through open self-signup. Each account belongs to a company; the account owner may invite additional users and assign them roles (HR manager, department manager) that determine what they can see and do.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of applicable labor laws.
- Attempt to access data belonging to another company.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the Service without our written agreement.
Your data
You retain ownership of the employee and company data you store in Kadra. You are responsible for the accuracy of that data and for having the right to store it — including any consents required from your employees under applicable law.
Processing your employees' data
For the employee and applicant data you store in Kadra, your company decides why and how it is used, and Kadra processes it on your behalf and on your instructions. In particular, we:
- Use that data only to provide the Service to you, and never sell it.
- Limit access within Kadra to the people who need it to run and support the Service, and keep it confidential.
- Use the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy to run parts of the Service, and update that list before we add a new one.
- Tell you without undue delay if we learn of a breach affecting your data.
- Help you answer your employees' requests to see, correct or delete their data, and delete or return your company's data when our agreement ends, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Identity checks for new hires
If your company turns on identity checks, Kadra lets you send a new hire a link to confirm their national ID with photos of the card and a short selfie. The checks are run by Didit, an identity verification company, which Kadra uses as a service provider. When you use them, you agree that:
- You will only check your own new hires and employees, for confirming their identity when they join or when their records need it, and not for ongoing monitoring or any other purpose.
- You have a lawful basis for the check under applicable law, including Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (151/2020). Each person must agree on Kadra's consent page before the check starts, and you will not pressure anyone into it or check anyone who hasn't agreed.
- You will not misuse the identity checks or let anyone else do so: no submitting another person's documents or images, no attempts to fool or get around the checks, and no copying, reverse-engineering or reselling them.
- A result is a signal, not a decision. A person at your company decides what to do with it, including whether to apply what was read from an ID to the employee's record. Where a check fails or needs review, check the person's ID another way. Don't treat a failed check as proof of wrongdoing.
- Checks above the number included in your agreement may be charged, and we may set a monthly limit on them.
You are responsible for how your company uses identity checks. Because these terms also protect Didit, you are responsible to us for any misuse that leads to a claim against Kadra by Didit or anyone else. We may suspend identity checks for a company that misuses them, and we may tell Didit about your use of them if Didit asks.
Egyptian labor-law calculations
Kadra provides end-of-service entitlement calculations and suggested notice periods as a starting point based on standard formulas. These are not legal advice. You are responsible for verifying figures against current Egyptian labor law and your specific contracts before relying on them, particularly for termination and settlement decisions.
Availability
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and features may change over time.
Termination
Either party may end the relationship in line with the commercial agreement made when your account was set up. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including decisions made based on its calculations without independent verification.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
